90 days (3 months)
You're going to run an improvement project at work and someone needs to teach you what DMAIC actually does — not how to recite the letters, but how to use it to find the cause of a problem and fix it.
Course Overview
SSGB certifies you to lead Six Sigma projects at the Green Belt level — project selection, team formation, DMAIC execution, stakeholder management, statistical analysis, and project close-out. The course covers the full Six Sigma toolkit: SIPOC, process maps, Fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts, FMEA, hypothesis testing, process capability, control plans, and case studies. 90 days of LMS access, proctored exam, recertification every 3 years.
What You Will Learn
- How to pick the right project — one that's worth fixing and small enough to actually finish. How to plan and execute DMAIC end-to-end. How to form and lead a Six Sigma project team. How to assess and manage project risk. How to significantly increase profitability through structured Six Sigma work. How to avoid the common implementation traps that kill Six Sigma rollouts.
About the Course
- SSGB is the project-leader credential in the 6sigmastudy family — the cert for the person who actually scopes, runs, and closes a Six Sigma project.
How the Course Works
- Online and self-paced through the VMEdu LMS. You get 90 days (3 months) of access from the day your enrollment activates, the full preparatory course, downloadable study guides, podcasts, chapter tests, case studies, the proctored certification exam itself. Mobile and desktop both work. If you're buying for a team or want help applying what you learn after the exam, an optional Trinity advisory engagement is available on request.
Who this Course is For
- You if you're going to lead a Six Sigma project at work. You if you're a project manager who runs process improvement. You if you're a quality engineer or team lead. You if you're a PMP holder looking for PDUs. You if you've earned SSYB and the next step is leading the project.
Individual Outcomes
- You'll lead improvement projects in your current organization with a credentialed framework behind you, qualify for Green Belt roles in industries that explicitly hire for the credential, and build the foundation for SSBB, LSSGB, or LSSBB. PMP holders earn PMI PDUs from the SSGB content.
Organizational Outcomes
- If you're trying to develop internal capacity to run Green Belt projects without leaning on external consultants, SSGB is the credential that names the project-leader role. It also produces measurable cost reduction and quality improvement, which is the actual business case.
Why Choose this certification
- SSGB is the most established Green Belt credential in the 6sigmastudy / VMEdu family. It's the cert that turns Six Sigma theory into delivered improvement results and the stepping stone to SSBB or LSSBB.
Why choose Trinity
- Green Belt is where Six Sigma projects actually get delivered — and it's the level the team I led ran continuously across two decades of industrial operations. DMAIC at the project-leader scope produced $20M+ in documented savings across the Specialty Metals Manufacturer and Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer engagements. Trinity carries SSGB because the credential names the discipline behind those outcomes, and an optional Trinity advisory engagement is available after certification to help you scope, run, and close your first Green Belt project in your own organization.
Accreditation & Recognition
- Trinity is a 6sigmastudy / VMEdu Authorized Training Partner (V.A.T.P.). Trinity provides training and enrollment support using VMEdu's accredited course content and platform; credentials are issued by 6sigmastudy (a brand of VMEdu Inc.) upon meeting their requirements. Trinity does not issue credentials directly.
