$400

Lean Six Sigma

Price

180 days (6 months)

Estimated Learning Time

You've delivered Green Belt projects. Now you're being asked to lead them — to pick the projects, run the teams, defend the results to leadership, and explain why the savings number on your slide is the real one.

Course Overview

SSBB is the senior credential in the 6sigmastudy Six Sigma track. The course covers DMAIC at an advanced level, team facilitation, stakeholder management, advanced statistical analysis, risk management, DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), and case studies of complex improvement projects. 180 days of LMS access, proctored exam, recertification every 3 years.

What You Will Learn

How to manage complex DMAIC projects with high uncertainty and high stakeholder count. Advanced statistical tools and when each one earns its keep. How to facilitate teams under pressure. How to assess and manage risk at Black Belt scope. DFSS — designing for Six Sigma rather than improving toward it. How to anticipate and resolve the implementation issues that kill rollouts. How to build problem-solving skills that transfer to anything operational.

About the Course

SSBB is the senior credential in the 6sigmastudy Six Sigma track — the cert for senior process-improvement leaders running complex projects at scale and the precursor to LSSBB.

How the Course Works

Online and self-paced through the VMEdu LMS. You get 180 days of access from the day your enrollment activates, the full preparatory course, downloadable study guides, podcasts, chapter tests, case studies, two free exam retakes, and the proctored certification exam itself. Mobile and desktop both work. If you're buying for a team or want help applying what you learn after the exam, an optional Trinity advisory engagement is available on request.

Who this Course is For

You if you're being asked to lead Six Sigma at the Black Belt level. You if you're a full-time improvement-project leader. You if you're a quality or operations director. You if you're a consultant. You if you've earned SSGB and the next step is picking the projects.

Individual Outcomes

You'll qualify for Black Belt and senior process-improvement roles, command top-of-market rates, and have the credential the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) track builds on.

Organizational Outcomes

If you're trying to develop internal capacity to run Black Belt projects without external consultants, SSBB is the credential that names the senior practitioner. It also signals to leadership that the project results being reported come from a credentialed methodology, not just experience.

Why Choose this certification

SSBB is what hiring managers and engagement clients look for when they need a process-improvement leader who can run Black Belt projects, lead Green Belts, and deliver measurable business results — not just operate one project at a time.

Why choose Trinity

The Black Belt role is the one the team I led held and applied firsthand. Across 20+ years of industrial operations, DMAIC at the Black Belt scope delivered $20M+ in documented savings across the Specialty Metals Manufacturer and Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer engagements, alongside 46% reduction in operating expenses, 89% first-pass quality, 50% scrap reduction, and 40% efficiency improvement. This is one of the certifications Trinity is most credentialed to support. Optional Trinity advisory engagement available after certification to help you scope, run, and close your first Black Belt project in your own organization.
