Your team uses Scrum. Their team uses Kanban. The team upstream uses something they call 'Scrumban' but won't admit is mostly Waterfall. SAMC is the credential that certifies you actually know what each one is for.

Course Overview

SAMC is for the people who have to work across the full Agile landscape, not inside a single framework. The course covers the values and principles behind Agile, the major methodologies (Scrum, XP, Crystal, DSDM, FDD, Lean Software Development, Kanban), and the comparative judgment required to pick the right one for a given team, product, or organizational context. 180 days of LMS access, 100-question proctored exam.

What You Will Learn

The Agile Manifesto principles and why they were written. The major Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Crystal, DSDM, FDD, Lean, Kanban) and where each one actually fits. How to compare and select an Agile method for a given context instead of forcing the one you happen to know. How to combine elements of multiple frameworks without ending up with a Frankenstein. How to assess Agile maturity in an organization and recommend a starting point.

About the Course

SAMC is the cross-framework Agile credential — the right cert when your job is to know which Agile method to apply, not just to operate one. Recognized by senior Agile coaching and transformation roles.

How the Course Works

Online and self-paced through the VMEdu LMS. You get 180 days of access from the day your enrollment activates, the full preparatory course, an e-copy of the body of knowledge, chapter tests, two full-length simulated exams, and the proctored certification exam itself. Mobile and desktop both work. If you're buying for a team or want help applying what you learn after the exam, an optional Trinity advisory engagement is available on request.

Individual Outcomes

You'll qualify for Agile coach and transformation roles that require breadth beyond Scrum, and you'll have the comparative judgment that senior advisory work requires.

Who this Course is For

You if you work across multiple Agile frameworks. You if you're a consultant whose clients ask which method fits. You if you're a transformation lead and the answer isn't always Scrum. You if you've held SDC or SMC and need the broader lens.

Organizational Outcomes

If you're trying to decide which Agile framework to commit to before investing in a transformation, an Agile-Master-credentialed practitioner is the right person to do that diagnosis. The credential signals they can compare honestly rather than recommending whatever they happen to know.

Why Choose this certification

SAMC is the right credential when the Scrum-only certs are too narrow for the work you're being asked to do. It positions you for Agile coach, transformation, and senior advisory roles where 'which method' is the question — not 'how do I run this one.'

Why choose Trinity

Choosing the right framework for the right context is the discipline behind SAMC — and it's the discipline behind every operational engagement Trinity has led. The comparative lens that lets you pick between Baldrige, ISO, Lean Six Sigma, and OKRs for an industrial transformation is the same lens that lets you choose between Scrum and Kanban for a delivery problem. Different domain, same skill. Optional Trinity advisory engagement available after certification to help you make the framework call in your own organization.

Accreditation & Recognition

Trinity is a SCRUMstudy / VMEdu Authorized Training Partner (V.A.T.P.). Trinity provides training and enrollment support using VMEdu's accredited course content and platform; credentials are issued by SCRUMstudy (a brand of VMEdu Inc.) upon meeting their requirements. Trinity does not issue credentials directly.

For teams & cohort

This course can be delivered to individuals or as part of a team pathway. If you’re considering LSSBB™ for multiple staff, we can discuss cohort enrollment, role mapping, and simple reporting for your organization.
