Business Analysis Essentials with AI Certified (BAEC)

Business Analysis

180 days (6 months)

Estimated Learning Time

You've been doing the work of business analysis without the title for it — gathering requirements, mediating between business and engineering, documenting what 'done' looks like — and you want the credential that names what you actually do. BAEC is the entry-level paid BA credential.

Course Overview

BAEC is the paid foundational credential in the BALearning family. It builds on BAFC by adding practical implementation skills: how to actually run requirements elicitation sessions, write specifications that engineering can build from, manage scope when business priorities shift mid-project, and use AI-enabled BA tools in day-to-day work. 75-question proctored exam, 90 minutes.

What You Will Learn

How to actually run a requirements elicitation session — not just describe one. How to write specifications engineering can build from without 14 rounds of clarification. How to manage scope and change requests without becoming the person who says no for a living. How to handle stakeholder conflict when two groups want different things. How to use AI-enabled BA tools — Vabro.ai, process modelers, requirements traceability platforms — in daily work.

About the Course

BAEC is the paid foundational credential in the BALearning framework — the right cert for people already doing BA work who want the credential that names what they do.

How the Course Works

Online and self-paced through the VMEdu LMS. 180 days of access from enrollment activation, the full preparatory course, study guides, chapter tests, simulated exams, role-play exercises and case studies, a complimentary copy of the BARG Guide, and the proctored certification exam — all included in the course fee. Mobile and desktop both work. If you're buying for a team or want help applying what you learn after the exam, an optional Trinity advisory engagement is available on request.

Who this Course is For

You if you're already doing BA work without the title. You if you're a developer, PM, or ops lead drifting into requirements work. You if you've earned BAFC and the next step is paid credentialing.

Individual Outcomes

You'll hold a paid BALearning practitioner credential, qualify for credentialed BA roles, and have the foundation for BAPC, BALC, or BACC if your role moves later.

Organizational Outcomes

If you have people doing BA work without the credential to back it up, BAEC closes the gap between informal capability and credentialed competence — and signals to leadership that the BA practice is being run with discipline.

Why Choose this certification

BAEC is the right credential when you're already doing the work and want the proof. It's the cleanest step from informal BA practice to credentialed professional, and the foundation for BAPC, BALC, or BACC if you move up later.

Why choose Trinity

Most BA work is mediation — between business intent and engineering reality, between competing stakeholders, between what's wanted now and what's sustainable. That mediation discipline is at the center of every operational engagement the team I led ran across two decades of industrial leadership. Translating leadership goals into specific, deliverable change is how we delivered $20M+ in documented savings across the Specialty Metals Manufacturer and Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer engagements. Optional Trinity advisory engagement available after certification to help you apply BA practices in your own operation.

Accreditation & Recognition

Trinity is a BALearning / VMEdu Authorized Training Partner (V.A.T.P.). Trinity provides training and enrollment support using VMEdu's accredited course content and platform; credentials are issued by BALearning (a brand of VMEdu Inc.) upon meeting their requirements. Trinity does not issue credentials directly.

For teams & cohort

This course can be delivered to individuals or as part of a team pathway. If you’re considering LSSBB™ for multiple staff, we can discuss cohort enrollment, role mapping, and simple reporting for your organization.
